![]() Could it be that my computer just cannot handle the graphics Royal Court provides? I am sure my specs are within the required range though. Therefore, Crusader Kings 3 has become the only game I experience this issue with. A side note - the other game I had mentioned where I had said that I crash in the same way I do in CK3, Bannerlord 2, does not crash anymore. Now I just need to wait for a callback to see if they can assist me with this issue. UPDATE: I went ahead and contacted Microsoft. The server did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.Ĭlick to expand.Windows support? Does that mean that you recommend I reach out to Microsoft about this issue? The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Launch permission for the COM Server application with CLSID I don't exactly know how to share all of this information with you, but I will give you some examples of what the warnings say per the application. According to the Event Viewer, there are a GREAT amount of "Warnings" and a few "Errors". I was able to open up the viewer and look back on the day that I last played the game and crashed, which was May 15th. įrom your Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3/logs/ folder, attach here system.log, error.logĬlick to expand.I had to look up what you meant, as I had never heard of the Windows Event Viewer before. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. Not looking good from that error.log, I have to say. To add on to my situation, everytime I crash, I get the same message about my D3D device being removed and that it couldn't handle more demands, or something like that. I would rather not change my game version, as I would like to play with royal court, but if I really mustn't and no one can provide me with a method for fixing this, do let me know. I've spent the last three days looking for solutions, only for them to give the same methods that I've already tried. ![]() I've done just about everything you can think of off the top: I've verified my files, played with mods and without (primarily without), uninstalled and reinstalled the game (made sure to delete all CK3 files before reinstalling, and also played with no mods afterwards), gave the executable administrator privileges, tested playing the game without using the royal court option (to which I was literally able to play for 5 hours, but once I opened the royal court window, I crashed within 2 minutes of looking at it), checked for driver updates, to which my drivers were fully updated (I have an AMD Radeon RX 580), and lowered my graphics settings to the lowest possible options (except for textures which remained on medium/high). For me, CK3 only crashes when I am in the Royal Court window, with and without mods.
